Mastroianni Landscaping Inc.  evoled into a company in 1985 when I (John) found my passion.

With a bachelor's degree from Rider University in Accounting/Finance, I worked for local companies honing my financial reporting & auditing abilities.  Landscaping became a passion, 2 years were spent at Rutgers University studying core courses in Landscape Design & Horticulture enhancing the life experience gained as a young boy and teenager.  Finding a passion with landscaping & building projects, I set out to use my knowledge.  Since then, properties maintained by MLI have been given new life.  High end maintenance protocols are followed, new outdoor living spaces are being created - Homes built on spec - (stick built, modular, & renovations).  Pools-concrete & fiberglass, outdoor cabanas & kitchens have also been added.  Just recently custom modular fireplaces have been replacing block fireplace construction.  MLI understands the mechanics of proper property enhancement from being involved in every aspect of home & garden construction.  Additionally, John has collarborated with highly respected local Real Estate Organizations fullfilling outdoor home staging for new sales.

Alongside our competant full-time crew, we work with local talent - artisans, architects, designers, & respected sub-contractors, to create varied & beautiful projects.

Believing in the thought process of paying forward, MLI is associated with charitable community organizations, such as the Junior Leagure of Princeton, The Princeton Chamber of Commerce, and the Princeton Arts Council. In the 2008 RidgeView Showhouse, MLI was selected for 2 projects.  The only design firm who was allowed to attack a double renovation at one home.  The projects consisted of two very prominent focal points, all to be completed in 4 weeks.  The Front Entrance & Pool Cabana Area.  The front creates the mood prior to entering one's home.  The cabana area creates the entertaining enviroment which inspire the evenings' events, creating a relaxing atmosphere to rejuvinate prior to the workweek ahead.  The Pool Cabana Areas were chosen for the June 2009 edition of DesignNJ Magazine.  We were doubly enthused when another Cabana project, which MLI designed & constructed as part of a larger outdoor master plan, was also chosen to be in the June 2009 edition of Design NJ Magazine.
